Let's talk about Banana fish and Killing stalking

There was no trigger warning in my original post and ig I made a very huge mistake from now onwards I'll mention tw before discussions for just in case and I am doing this to represent the change in my mindset in case someone reads it. So this discussion is full of unconventional ships, rape/sexual abuse.

Both are not very much similar but yeah both involves themes of rape, sexual abuse etc.and for me, endings of both were emotional.I have seen people getting cancelled or something when they say killing stalking as BL, I want to ask why? Afterall it's just fiction, right? What's wrong with shipping Dino x ash, sangwoo x bum, bum x his uncle?(I hate to write all this but....) Can you ship whoever you want coz they are fictional? An artwork can have many interpretations so is there anything wrong with this interpretation? Are we morally responsible to read the art as the author intended or are we free to draw our own conclusions/interpretations?Isn't it wrong to shame others for what they like in fiction?
