Bro after 2 days I finally figure it out

What you have to do is animate the root piece on the rig as the very last step, seperate from all your other rig keyframes. This way, then your character steps you can manually edit his position in Z space rather than having a walk cycle animation that's hard to edit; Wayy simpler than trying to edit the kinematics as well

Bro I've watched 20 different tutorials in the past 2 days none helped. No forums talked about this and the blender manual is a waste of space. Blender is not user friendly at all. I'll try and make better tutorials after I finish my current project
