Do you wish other martial arts had the same 'hobbyist' vibe as BJJ?

I'm currently training BJJ and it's my last martial art out of the major ones (not counting wing chun, krav maga etc). My base is boxing, I did muay thai and wresting throughout high school, started judo in college and I finally getting round to BJJ at 24.

There's a big difference in the vibe of this sport. It's very relaxed which is a good and bad thing. It's not the best for competition but at the same time, it's much easier on the body. I know some people who've been turned off by the immersive nature of boxing/wrestling/muay thai/judo gyms. The focus on intense conditioning and gruelling training.

Unless you go to a competitive BJJ school, you can pretty much skip all the tough conditioning which imo allows a broader group of people to try the sport. Do you wish other martial arts were like this? If they were, what would be the pros and cons?
