Why is nobody talking about water

I spent 3 years doing BJJ and not one time I heard someone talk about the importance of drinking massive amounts of water after sessions. I used to not be able to sleep properly and think it’s just because I am too hyped up. Fixed that by drinking at least 2L of water after and throughout the night.

I think it’s right up there with sleep, eating, etc, but it doesn’t seem to be a topic of discussions online and on the various gyms i’ve been to.

I’m only saying this cause were I was ever told to drink more water than I think is necessary it would’ve made my life a lot easier and better. It’s almost irrelevant, but for me, it’s a game changer, cause now I can sleep earlier and recover faster. I don’t know why, it just seems to work.

Anyway, it helped me. And if you’re like me, I hope it helps anyone out there. Maybe it will change something.
