Still so confused about the NY Bar July registration situation
Long story short, not my first retake of the NY Bar, and I've never had this issue with BOLE or the system before. I work full-time and have had to retake and I've never had a registration deadline, for either February or July, that wasn't immediately accessible during the period they say it is supposed to be open for (in this instance, April 1-30th for those applying for July '23). I usually would always register immediately on the 1st of whichever month just so I could get that out of the way, but now its been nearly a full 10 days out of the 30 day window that the system is not allowing people to register and says "closed," and there's no reference points on the NY Bar website or via any emails to just assuage us by letting us know they're working through tech issues, if they are.
So what gives? It'll be April 10th tomorrow and yeah registration for retakers takes like two seconds to sign up for but why is this happening now and why is the fact that registration is unavailable going seemingly completely unaddressed. From what I've read on here people started noticing this last Monday at the latest and also some people can still register? And outside of our little reddit bubble, I'm guessing there are thousands of people who would have already signed up during the first 10 of 30 days to do so.
Is there any new information on this or are we just supposed to keep refreshing the page daily in hopes that it'll just pop back up and be accessible.
