Why are there so many gay and bisexual teens irl, but barely any on apps?

I see alot (literally alot) of teenagers (18-22) irl who are gay/bisexual, but barely I find them on Grindr/sniffies etc….. why’s this? Aren’t they like even more horny than adults?
