Is this even normal? Please I need your help
Today I went for the extraction of a tooth, and I notice the dentist that is taking care of me is missing and there is his son, a very young man I have dealt with before and I had nightmares afterwards. I decide to not extract the tooth, but I tell him I'm experiencing pain in the socket of the upper right incisor his father extracted me on Friday of the previous week. I tell him I can't see any clot, that I have weird breath smell, and what he does? He proceeds to scrap inside my socket with some hook shaped tool, touching my nerves, causing me to literally jump on the chair multiple times. I'm 31 years old and I'm a man but I swear I was almost in tears from the pain.
I started to bleed a little again afterwards. Now I'm afraid that he aggravated things as the hole is so empty you can't see the end of it even with the phone flashlight. I'm afraid that if I didn't have a dry socket, now I will surely have one. Why did he scratch inside my socket with those tools? Some dentist that can explain? Will I have dry socket now? PLEASE I NEED YOUR REASSURANCE I'M PANICKING!
