root canal healing?

23 y/o F Got a root canal at a dental school in the Endodontics department on 10/21, the first picture is that night, the second is this morning (10/23). She told me she got all of the “infected tissue” out of the canal but i have to go back to finish in a couple weeks because my canals were too inflamed. What does this mean? I am still having pain that 600 mg of Motrin is taking care of for the most part. Also, I’m concerned because it looks like my tooth has lost some of the temporary filling? Is this normal? Does everything look ok? Thank you!
