Is it reasonable to reject an internship because of the long commute?
Is it unreasonable to reject an internship purely because of the distance? I’ve already done a few internships in the past, so I’m okay with not doing another one this summer if I don’t secure one. On top of that, the role isn’t particularly relevant to my field of study, which makes me hesitant after finding out the office is over an hour away.
In case you’re wondering how I didn’t know about the location earlier, the interview was conducted online, and I was assigned to one of their branch offices instead of their main office.
