Can I assign partial damage from a revelation treachery to an ally?
For an action I deal 2 damage to an investigator at my location and discard violent commands.
I've read the "dealing damage/horror" section of the rules reference and I'm like 99% sure that I can assign 1 damage to an ally and 1 damage to Tony (which I guess in the context of the "gameplay story" means that Tony randomly tries to hurt himself and his ally steps up and tries to stop him and gets hurt doing this - which would be really disturbing to consider happening in real life) ... but I'm not 100% positive.
So anyway, can I assign damage to an ally during a revelation because it lacks the "direct damage" text, or is this type of revelation an "implied direct damage" type of thing.
I know I'm overthinking it here and my initial thought that the damage can be assigned wherever I want is the correct answer, but I'm second guessing myself!
