Ham licensing

Hey there I am wanting to get into HAM radio operation and I was wondering if there was a good sort of “do it when I can” online course, preferably not insanely expensive, that I can do so that I can learn about the operation and rules regarding HAM operation. I mean if I really wanted to I could just memorize answers for two weeks and probably pass but that wouldn’t help me understand its operation and effectively not get me anywhere. But I generally just don’t have time to put in to a traditional class if I could even find one near me. Thanks for any help!!
