An interesting exercise for readers.

One of the things that I personally like to do when re-reading books is to read them again with the assumption that I'm wrong. That everything I have thought about certain characters and events is wrong and that theories I've seen online are right. And then maybe once more with a different perspective. I have to say its a wonderful exercise and really deepens the appreciation for arguments that you've seen that you may have disagreed with.

I want to challenge a few of the readers I've seen in the subreddit who are die hard about any theory in particular to look for evidence they are wrong, not because I believe it but because I think it makes your understanding of the whole a lot better.

Anyway I'd love to see if anyone here has done the same thing and what their thoughts were after the exercise. For me, I was able to see a lot more problematic behavior from pretty much every character than I originally saw and also to understand how morally grey everyone is and how much each of them really messes things up.

Curious to hear your thoughts.
