I wish ZZZ was cheaper...

TL:DR Pulls are so expensive, it doesn't even make sense for me to buy a character. I feel like if things were cheaper, more people could actually consider it an option.

I have never played a gacha game before. ZZZ has always seemed neat but I've been put off by the gacha because I'm poor. I see that ZZZ is adding a cute fox girl with the big floppy ears; I cave and try ZZZ. I love this game. The world. The characters. The animation is just...too good for words. Im hooked. lose the 50/50 on Miyabi. Cry. Get her on the next S rank. Both at mercy cap.

fast forward to now. Astra is the character my team needs, Ellen is the character the heart needs. I pull for Ellen. I lose another 50/50. cry more. Get Ellen at mercy cap again.

Now...I still want Astra. Because fate had decided that this patch would be the first split banner EVER and she is avaiable for half the time, certainly not a marketing sceme, now way, I am going to miss Astra. Big sad, life goes on. w.e.

I finally get a real income. Im a big boy now. Got a big boy wallet. Decide to look into just buying Astra. See the cost of the discounted(!!!) 10 pulls. They are $20 in maple bucks. So if I want to buy Astra, it would be $360, assuming bad luck, which I have learned is normal luck, and assuming discount price which is not what I would be paying.

THAT IS NUTS! Its fiscally irresponsible. Like I could go buy a decent FPV drone for that cost. Or a sweet GPU. Or like....3 triple A games. Now you can say that is just the way gacha games go and thats the whale life. But thats crazy.

I want to spend money on this game. I got the interknot pass. I got the reconstruction pass. But...that is it. Nothing else makes sense to buy. I literally cannot justify spending money on a game I legit play like...2 hours a day. That is crazy to me. I wish there was a way to invest more into a game I love without literally making my family and SO think I have a problem. Which they will. Which ANYONE will if I told them I spent $360+ on a digital woman in a video game.
