Backstory : Marc used to live on a deserted island where anything and anybody are allowed doesn't matter if they are video game character, a human, a snake or even a robot they all live in harmony, and Marc once had a friend named Joey who was a small robot that was programed to entertain children and be an emotional support partner and he was mostly normal besides being a little energetic but he was an overall nice guy but one day when Marc went and visit him he found him with a plug attached to the back of his head and from that day on he stopped being cheerful and positive and started being more clingy and hard on both himself and everyone around him insisting that they aren't “perfect” and that everything has to be “perfect” and after a few weeks a couple of people and electronics on the island would slowly go missing one by one, and most people started to panic except for Joey who was seemingly just as joyful as if he was back to his old self again and Marc decided to question him about it to which Joey revealed that he has been taking electronics and people and using their parts to make himself more smarter and more alive and Marc immediately tried to run away and tell every one but Joesph slashed at his legs and was about nearly claw his face off when his girlfriend Anne walked in and he tried to claw at her but she was able grab Marc and warn the others and some of them were able to hide from Joesph but others weren't lucky and were incinerated or cut to pieces and left to rot but the refugees were able to salvage what they could from who have fallen and have figured out that if someone has half of a face from someone else and say that they are someone that they aren't then Joesph wouldn't be able to recognize them and it will leave him confused long enough for them to run or hide, and they also do this as a way of memorializing someone that has been a help to the refuge, and eventually the refugees started dying out until it became only Marc who is now called Dave and Anne who was called Stella and they were going to find a way out and they were able to find a gateway that Joesph has been working on and they were going to go in it together but Joesph came in and found what they were doing and was going to make the whole room explode and Anne sacrificed herself to save Dave by distracting Joesph away from the gateway by shooting at him but Dave didn't want to leave her behind and wanted to save her but was too late Joesph killed her before turning to Dave and attempted to grab him but Dave went through the gateway with it exploding and closing behind him and Dave at that moment started crying out of both losing his girlfriend and home and he never moved on from it but kept pushing on and found a spear and kept it with him and he also eventually found a wooden mannequin with scars on his face wearing medieval armor and Dave with rage in his mind thought that he was a machine so he attacked him and tried to murder him out of rage but the scar faced mannequin stood his ground and played defensively until Dave broke down in tears again to which the mannequin was confused and concerned of Dave's behavior and tried to comfort him and he eventually calmed down and Scarface vowed to protect him because he isn't about to let him fight on his own when he is so depressed
