Need advice

My attorney’s paralegal informed me my attorney was fired. There was a special hearing yesterday and they sent another attorney in my late attorney’s place. I was informed after the freaking fact that all this took place. I was supposedly being represented by another attorney at their firm. I was assured that my previous attorney didn’t mess up anything with my case but I was informed she did mess up other cases. The new attorney has not reached out to me. I did not hear anything after the off docket hearing about what happened.. I am pissed. I was told by my late attorney motions for penalties and fines were filed. This was r/t me not being paid my benefits for almost 4 months now. Benefits stopped in October. How should I proceed? How do I know what is really going on in my case? Any suggestions on how to proceed ? Thanks .
