Go my mig gun working! What’s everyone’s thoughts on my first welds

Lo & behold the reason I wasn’t getting an arc on my mig gun was because the positive terminal wasn’t plugged in!

Generally I grind the area that I’m trying to weld a bit but was too excited because I figured out where I was going wrong & didn’t grind (I’d ground it a week or two ago but it was starting to rust)
