Encountered something that may or may not have been discovered by anyone?

As the title says i may have or may have not found something that hasnt been discovered yet.

So i'm on day 36 and i was processing some signals so i decided to go to bed only to then be woken up by something, i look around the base and there's nothing except for when i looked outside the window it was foggy as all hell and i thought "oh maybe this is an event" and went outside only for the world to get darker and for me to spot two eyes in the distance from across the river which spooked me out but also sparked my curiousity so of course as any sane votv player i decided to go closer to it only for it to move away from me while also maintaining the same distance.

I did try to take some screenshots but afterwards i found out geforce experience just didn't take them for me for some fucking reason

after a while it pretty much disappeared and in a few seconds the world cleared up so i saved my game and then decided to go on the wiki to try and find something about it, but i didn't so that's why im here wondering if anyone else has encountered something similar or exactly like this or if it's on the wiki and im just blind and couldn't find anything about it lmao
