Confused on what the "best" uni I applied to is
Hello everyone, I am an international student applying for history and international relations in the UK this year, and so far I have heard back from 4/5 of my unis and so far have all given me an offer.
I have applied to:
University of Glasgow (History/Philosophy) - Accepted
University of Exeter (History and IR) - Accepted
University of Sheffield (History and Politics) - Accepted
SOAS University (History and IR) - Accepted
King's College (History and IR) - no decision yet
When applying, I thought that King's would be my top choice because of like perceived "prestige" and also generally ranking highly internationally on international rankings. SOAS is also regarded very well in studies of Asia or Africa I've heard and I'm also open to that. But I just kind of feel lost now, I am happy I've gotten 4 offers so far but now with the choice to pick one, I feel overwhelmed. I'm not sure on whether my previous assumptions were correct, and I do see a lot for example about how Exeter is a very highly ranked university, even some ranking it above King's for my degree.
I need help to what would be the most sensible choice I guess, I know there isn't one correct choice but I would very much appreicate any help from anyone familiar with any of these unis or the degree or anyone with food for thought haha. I'm looking for a uni with a vibrant student life, particularly, I'm interested in things like societies and student unions, generally things that are also politically active interest me. I don't mind not living in a big city but I'm also not against it, as long as it isn't considered "boring" and I can meet people frequently. Also I want to know what is the "best" uni out of this list in terms of employer prospection and what they see as the most "prestigious". Thank you for anyone that helps.
