I know hovering is bad but (TMI WARNING)

I had sex for the first time with my husband since February (hip surgery).

Every time I do this (sex after a long break), the area right below the vagina (fourchette) gets stretched and cut. And when I pee, the urine goes over the cut and it stingsss!

I am glad to have new hips and a toilet seat raiser. I can rest my bum on it and bend all the way forward so that urine falls straight down instead of trickling over to the vagina area. No stinging.

But in the past I've hovered for the same reason lol.

Anyone else in the same situation??
