How do you really feel about pregnancy/childbirth?
Before I start - I’m a woman myself. However, I’ve had an irrational fear of getting pregnant all my life and don’t like the idea of it at ALL. I’m not interested in having kids anyways, but I can’t wrap my head around how women would want to go through all of that. I get it to an extent obviously (biology, sex drive, everyone is an individual with different desires and interests), but I struggle to understand. Part of me gets upset that women get the short end of the stick when it comes to life, and I don’t get why a vast majority of women want to get pregnant and have children - multiple, even. Growing up, it always seemed like a horrifying duty women simply had to deal with; just another part of that short end of the stick.
Could you share with me your view on pregnancy and childbirth? I’m not looking to be convinced to conceive by the way, just want to understand!
