So on top of every other reason why it's obvious he didn't watch/read One Piece, something stood out about how he never mentioned Franky even in passing. In fact during that section where he removes characters he deems 'unnecessary' he actually cuts Franky.

Then it dawned on me. Franky's bounty poster at this moment is a picture of the Thousand Sunny. And during his hand wave of the other straw hat crew after he's done jerking off over Robin he shows the Thousand Sunny alongside Jinbei, Brook and Chopper.

I think he thinks Franky is the name of the boat. This dude couldn't even skim the wiki for a list of all the Straw Hats and thinks the ship is a wanted criminal with a bounty poster.
