Fell in love with the Fiesta Rally Car, but have some questions

Stopped by my local hobby store and checked the Fiesta rally car. I like everything about it, except it struggling in grass. Now, I may be trying to repurpose this car for more off-road use, but I like it too much not to. What would I need to do to make it a competent off roader? It's basically going to be a backyard basher, something to help me get outside more and maybe take to a dirt track. I very much realize there are better suited chassis, but I really like the looks of this rally car.

What are my options here and if another chassis would be better suited and still look like a rally setup, please educate me. TIA!
