Windsheild replacement help?!

I’m supposed to be getting my windshield replaced by a Tesla certified collision shop. I put a $600 50% deposit down on the repair. They called me to schedule the drop off and told me it would be a 2 day job. I’m asking them why and they say it’s because they have to coordinate a time with a 3rd party windshield replacement company and they can’t guarantee that they will come out same day. I asked about a refund for the deposit instead because if I wanted to deal with a 3rd party I would’ve just done that myself. Then they claim that the 3rd party company is Safelite. Should I just go ahead with the refund or let them do it? Tesla quoted me at $1700 and id rather just pay the extra than be dealing with something sketchy
