The teams land in Indonesia, greeted by Don and Topher who teases another wild challenge. Crimson & Ennui keep Loki close, unaware of the danger ahead. Devin is still heartbroken but Carrie tries to keep them focused.
Teams must safely extract a vial of saliva from a Komodo dragon. Carrie & Devin push through, despite Devin’s mood, and finish first, Carrie shows signs of exhaustion though. Josee shows off her rage by wrestling a Komodo long enough for Jacques to collect. Noah, Owen, Jay, Mickey, Emma, and Kitty all take turns filling their vials after Owen pins a dragon down with his weight. Geoff & Brody’s teamwork is on point, letting the duo get the vial safely. Kelly & Taylor scream at the sight of the dragons, nearly quitting. It takes the two pep talking one another to handle such an insane challenge. Crimson & Ennui are too calm… until a Komodo dragon eats Loki! The two show emotion again and show they do care for one another and Loki, they beat the Komodo Dragon and save Loki but it costs them a lot of time.
Teams must search through hundreds of rugs in a marketplace to find the correct one. Carrie & Devin, get a lucky break, finding their rug after just a few checks. Josee trashes the building till she gets a rug, much to Jacques’s horror. Noah, Owen, Jay, Mickey, Emma, and Kitty all work together to find three rugs. Six people searching is better than two. This tactic lets them cover ground fast. Geoff & Brody dive into a pile as if it was the water, eventually pulling a rug up! Kelly & Taylor complement the authentic quality of the rugs. They know their furniture and surprise everyone with a fast pick. Crimson & Ennui struggle due to being the last team to arrive.
In the final push Carrie & Devin check in first, securing their first win. Devin seems to cheer up and appears normal… or as normal as Devin usually is. Crimson & Ennui check in last after falling behind and… are eliminated.
Crimson & Ennui accept their elimination without emotion, but they hold Loki close. The two whisper how this had brought them closer together, from seeing each other’s faces to getting Loki and bonding with him. They leave the show slightly more open people.
(Dude Buggies is non-elimination, Devin finally gets over the stages of Grief just in time for Carrie to stop caring about him. I’ll be real I never liked the Best Friends story lol. Taylor is almost eaten by a lion and Kelly protects her. Next elimination episode is El Bunny Supremo!)
