Using a steam deck hard drive in a pc?

In short my gf bought a 64gb steam deck and replaced it with a 1tb drive. I was trying to put the 64gb one in an empty slot in my pc just to throw a few indie games on but it shows up as 32 mb of storage instead of 64 gb. It would not allow me to format it. What am I missing?
