Does anyone feel like the overall OST from this game isn't as strong / iconic as BT 2 and 3?
As the title says I've noticed that coming into SZ that i expected absolute bangers as the OST but I hate to admit that I was somewhat disappointed. I find myself forgetting about the music and it doesn't even really get stuck in my head. Worst of all is that sometimes it feels like the OST is misplaced. Like in a raging battle something that sounds like menu music is playing. And as for the harder songs they just don't make me feel the way BT2 and 3 used to feel.
Some of it is good don't get me wrong. And not every song has to be a full on rock / metal classic that makes you feel on fire, in fact my favourite songs from 2 and 3 were actually the hyperbolic space time songs.
I get that taste is subjective and I know some people do like the music. Also it will probably grow on me eventually. But I still feel like it's lacking a bit overall ESPECIALLY when i compare it to 2 and 3.
I think a great idea would be to maybe have an option of adding older games OST like 2 and 3 etc, seeing that the main target for this game is people who grew up playing the older games. They have anime music so if there aren't any licensing issues why not?
