My trip to Pondicherry - Complete Itinerary
I visited Pondicherry this October. It is a great place for people who want to start travelling solo.

Things to Note:
- To reach Pondicherry, you can board a bus from the nearest bus stop to Chennai Airport. Takes about 4 hours.
- If you want to visit the inner chamber of Matri Mandir, you will have to book a slot on their website. https://mmaccess.auroville.org.in/visitors/new
- You can find dorm beds for as cheap as Rs 500.
- You can rent scooter for Rs500/600 per day.
- Try to visit Pichavaram with a boat and opt for the motorboat ride. They wil take you inside the magroves.
- Carry an umbrella and a flip-flop.
