Is Gen 2 Premium Audio that bad?

Is it even WORTH getting? I don't care about the dynamic roof one bit... I know the premium audio isn't great, but is the non-premium that much worse?

Test drove Gen 2 R1S w/out premium audio and it was pretty flat/generic sounding, not a wonderful listening experience for sure, but is Premium even better or is it better to just save the cash for now?
