Rezi review

I'll spend some time on a full review once I get an offer, but I wanted to briefly talk about how incredible my application response rate has been since I created and optimized my resume using Rezi.

In the last two weeks, I've had 14 interviews scheduled, including 7 interviews in the second round or later. I was doing ok before, usually landing 2-4 interviews per week, but they were mostly recruiter interviews. I'd be lucky to have one second interview per week.

As someone who has done a lot of hiring as a manager, what happens is the recruiter (or talent person) does the screening call, then forwards their notes along with your resume to the hiring manager. At this stage, the resume is still the most important part, since the recruiter isn't asking many technical questions, only trying to screen for a few key skills and experience. So, if you do well during the recruiter interview, then don't get a second interview, it's often because the hiring manager didn't like your resume. It happens all the time, and I've been the person rejecting candidates at this stage.

Considering the huge improvement I've experienced getting second interviews, Rezi seems like the difference-maker. The Rezi score and improvement suggestions were key, and I spent a lot of time improving my resume that way.

I wholeheartedly recommend Rezi to anyone who is having a hard time getting first or second interviews.
