Hydra is terrible

I am probably speaking for everyone, but hydra is making me want to stop playing all together. Right before the update, I was just starting to make some good progress and getting some respectable damage on hydra. Now I cannot do ANYTHING. I have a lot of champs that are supposed to be good for hydra too. hell I have a five star awakened Galathir (who gets eaten first everytime.) I need tips. It is infuriating. Someone please tell me what to do so I don't lose my mind! Hydra chests have the best loot by far but I never see it.
