Bug? or is this normal lol

basically was tryin to choose if i should keep the rock slide or replace it with the stone edge, but i js found this weird interaction which idk if its normal in any pokemon game or js unbound, if u select a move then lvl up n unlock another u could use the new unlocked move if u replaced the selected move lol
