How long before lifting weight again after breast implants?
Hi!
I got my breast augmentation surgery with 325cc implants subglandular 2 days ago. I am impressed at how relatively painless the whole thing is. Right after surgery it was kind of rough because they kicked me out of the hospital while I was still in the clouds and I was alone to wait for my return bus (8 hours night bus ha!), but I could drive the next day and I'm back at work, my armpits sting a little bit, getting up from bed is kinda painful but that's it. I could do it without my pain killing meds honestly. I did my surgery in Japan, which is nice because it's very cheap and the doctor is very well-known, but I feel like I didn't have "enough" information beforehand. I have a 2 y.o and a 11 month old at home. The doc told me I'd be in pain for a whole week, but as soon as I don't feel pain I can pick up my babies again. I feel puzzled because when I check online for the English websites about the same surgery it talks about a 6 WEEKS!! or at least 3 weeks of no-lifting, no-picking downtime, so I wonder which is true?
I feel like BA surgery isn't that much of a thing in Japan and it's much more common in the US, so I'm tempted to think that the info on the English websites is more trustworthy than my own doc... How long did you wait before picking up your baby or lifting some kinds of weight again? Will I really be fine after a week if I pick up my baby if I'm not in pain? Or will that wreck my results?
Thanks for your help
