Elevator gives me vertigo??

So prior to having pots, elevators were completely fine I took them in hotels, malls, hospital, etc. but after my diagnosis I started noticing after getting off of one I had insane vertigo where it’s almost hard for me to stand up without feeling like I’m falling or spinning and it lasts for a few minutes. Does anyone else experience this?? If so, what helps?
