Impel Down: The Most Underrated One Piece Arc.

No I’m not saying this is the best arc but I gotta say, the Impel Down arc is seriously slept on. It totally captures the show’s vibe and feels like home with all the familiar faces popping up, wacky humour, and even tho they didn’t get ace back, the sense of victory and relief when they all finally escaped. Luffy teaming up with past antagonists like Buggy and Mr. 3, Mr.1, crocodile and a whole warlord was wild and added to the craziness of one piece, Bon Clay? Absolute GOAT. His loyalty and sacrifice hit hard that shit almost brought me to tears.The whole queer crew added that wacky humor I love and from it we got interresting characters like Ivan. Also the scene with luffy getting recovering was gold too. Honestly there’s so many good moments like when luffy met up with Bon and buggy I couldn’t think of all of em rn. Let’s not forget Magellan, dude was an overpowered beast, making the stakes sky-high and being an actual dynamic antagonist who isn’t actually evil really. That helper guy he had was also funny and interesting. There’s way more to moments and characters that make this arc special, Impel Down deserves way more love for real.
