Looked at all of the competition and this is what I bought

For most of my life (63M) I’ve wanted a nice automatic and considered the “classic” Rolex to be my grail. I finally reached the point recently where I could afford to buy one and went shopping. I looked at all the offerings from Rolex (too much bling), Tudor (don’t like the snowflake hand design), IWC (too large), Longines (didn’t click with me), JLC (too dressy), and many other big names before finally settling on this understated piece from Omega.

The Omega Globemaster is everything I want and nothing I don’t… the perfect watch for me.
