Positive New Parent Stories

Hey all! I’m 35, married to my fav person on Earth, and we are expecting our first baby in February. I have been really struggling with being excited lately. feel like I haven’t come across any positive parenting stories in real life or online in years.

I think the closest I have come to seeing something positive about parenting has been jokes about parenting. It’s super disheartening. At times I feel like all this feedback from the universe is a sign that maybe this was a terrible decision. Just wanted to put some feelers out there and see if there is anyone enjoying parenting, anyone who has positive stories about parenting, or enjoys life with your spouse and child post-parenting.

Please share stories of not regretting having kids, not having constant severe sadness, and eternal sexlessness in your marriage. Cuz I’m getting extremely scared
