This was our pit stop between Badlands and Colorado Springs, so we weren’t here for more than a couple hours.

Would love to come back for an overnight stay - catch and sunrise and sunset and explore a bit more of the above ground offerings. The rolling hills were a pleasant surprise.

We started the Rankin Ridge Trail, but has to bail part-way through as we were cutting it close timewise to our cave tour.

It got busy-ish around the visitor centre by 9 am but the rest of the park was very quiet.

Bison were EVERYWHERE.
