It's in the details. Or am I Overreacting?

English is not my first language. I am seeing this girl for a while now. The more time passed, the more weird vibes I got from her. I suspected her to be narcissistic. She has a controlling spiritual abusive mother. So I always suspected her to be a victim. But the more often I met with her, I picked up on weird little behaviours, which are irritating in a very slight way. I recently met for drawing with each other, I am a bit of an amateur, bit it's quite alright. She knows that am into drawing and art. So she brought a book for painting with her and gave it to me. It's a book for children..it's called "feel the red and see the blue - experiencing the world of colours with children". Is this offensive? It is, am I right?
