Hii, I just finished Nana and I was a bit confused on some parts of the story.

Firstly, I never understood Hatchi’s obsession with boys/men? Where did it come from? It seemed like She had a decent childhood.

Secondly, the whole "theme" of Hatchi being selfish. I never understood that bit, She seems selfless to me. She gave up on Nobu so that he didn’t make any sacrifies for her. She cooked and baked for Blast to celebrate their achievement. She even became Shoji’s housewife at one point and went all the way to Tokyo to support him.

Thirdly, I never understood the "mistakes" Hatchi made that "pushed" Shoji to cheat? She seemed like a loving gf.

Finally, the whole Nobu and Takumi saga at the end. Hatchi stated that She only started a relationship (if you can call it that) with Takumi because She was scared of slut shaming. She later on cried to Junko that She actually loved him.
