Today's Israel/Gaza protest

This post is not meant for political discussion about the current conflict. I just have one question about the protest, and I hope someone may shine some light on it.

I noticed that the overwhelming majority of pro-Israel protesters (or rather demonstrators) were Hispanic folks. Also, a few songs they played had Jewish melodies but were in Spanish language. As a matter of fact, there were very little white people in the pro-Israel camp while the pro-Palestinian counter protestors were almost all white.

I'm not local (visiting family for holidays), so I don't know the local ethnic and political dynamics. I just found this ...interesting 🙂
