Medium cargo missions in Australia now always nighttime?

Since they brought in night missions it's been lovely and all, but no matter what time of day real time I fly or what I do with the time slider before the mission it still spawns in the pitch black, and stays that way until landing. Sometimes it's nice to be able to see where I'm landing too! Anybody else found this or got a workaround?
