Thought's on The Purge collection of movies?

Been revisting those movies lately, the first one could've been a lot better, barely used its premise and the main characters were just plain dumb at times. Sequels with Frank Grillo were a huge improvement and the prequel was okay, haven't seen "The Forever Purge" yet.
