Getting started with Marvel due to Rivals - morbidly interesting comics to start reading?

I just got done reading the comic where Wolverine has to kill the mutant kid for accidentally killing his town, as well as The Darkhold: Spiderman 2021, though I'd like to have read the story that came before that and led to the F4 dying (I don't know the name of it.)

Anyone have similarly morbid, yet interesting ones for me to look at?
