Need Help: Brand-New Logitech Mouse Gifted to Me, But Warranty Expired – Support Won’t Replace It
Hey everyone,
I really need some advice (or help from any Logitech reps here) regarding a frustrating warranty issue.
I recently received a brand-new Logitech mouse as a gift, still sealed in the box. But when I tried registering it, I found out that the warranty had expired in 2021—before I ever even owned it! Since it was a gift, I don’t have proof of purchase, and I can’t contact the gifter.
I contacted Logitech Support, but the process has been extremely slow, and they only offered me a 30% discount instead of a replacement. I feel like I’m being penalized for something completely out of my control—this is a brand-new, unused product, and I just want what I should have gotten if I had bought it myself.
I’ve tried reaching out through official support, Facebook, and Twitter DMs, but I’m getting nowhere. Has anyone else dealt with a situation like this? Is there a way to escalate this to someone who can actually approve a replacement?
I love Logitech products and have been a loyal user for years, but this experience has been really disappointing. Hoping someone here, maybe a Logitech rep, can help me get this resolved fairly. I have the serial number, product photos, and any info needed to verify my case.
Any advice on how to get this fixed ASAP? Thanks in advance!
