Why are citizens not trying to recall their republican senators based on dereliction of duty?

I’m genuinely curious. Trump can’t do most of these acts without being enabled by the senate and these confirmation hearings. I say we need to go after (NON VIOLENTLY) the other elected representatives and get them out of office immediately. Why isn’t this happening?
