Losing Kanye fucking sucks

While I was never the hugest enjoyer of Kanye before all the crazy shit started to happen I did decently enjoy me some Kanye sometimes. Albums like TLOP, Yeezus and Graduation were some bangers which I enjoyed listening to from time to time and I even liked a good chunk of songs from JIK and Donda.

However with the new albums that came out (which were all horrible) and the insane shit he’s been doing I’ve been ready to move on…

…Until I remembered his collab album with Common.

This is genuinely one of the best hip hop albums ever made with some of the most lush and gorgeous production on any album I’ve heard period. To me it is such a masterpiece that I consider it to be the hip hop equivalent to Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On”. It’s one of those albums that just make you feel happy to be alive and to exist and half of it is owed to Kanye and his contributions.

I saw a video about the album and once I heard the opening track for even just a second I immediately got pissed, now remembering that Kanye produced this and that he is who he is now.

The modern equivalent of this album to modern Kanye is probably KSG. Also an amazing album which I love and now feel guilty for enjoying.

Fuck you Kanye for being such an asshole and holding such abhorrent morals and fuck you for making such incredible art at some points.
