While a lot of people argue the details, JR bringing JBR upstairs might be the most telling clue that the family was involved.

JBR is in full rigor mortis when JR brings her upstairs. That means her whole body is stiff. Had John picked her up by the waist before rigor mortis set in, she would have slumped over. This puts her time of death around 1am, because it takes about 12 hours for full rigor mortis to set in. Rigor mortis also takes longer to set in in the cold. So JBR being in the basement with a window open, and what looks like a room without heat, then the 12 hours for full rigor to set in is likely.

If JBR had bled into her head for a couple of hours before she died, then her head wound would have happened closer to 10 o'clock. Which makes it seem likely that the Ramsey's knew about the head wound.
