do I have to get the ps5 upgrade??

So I got the ultimate edition at lunch but I'm waiting to finish elden ring before I play but I just was in the ps store and I saw an upgrade in my cart I removed it from my cart but I wanted to ask if I download the game directly to ps5 do I need to download the upgrade to enjoy the ps5 benefits??
