Do I paint the baseboard?

Excuse the mess, however, I painted these cabinets green when we moved in. As much as I love the colour something’s not right. We can’t afford a new kitchen yet so the tiles are staying despite being dated. Do I need to paint the baseboard green too? It’s really light compared to the floor which we also can’t afford to replace right now. It’s also a different colour to the counter tops.

I have considered stick on tiles to cover the pre-existing but feel really anxious about doing it in case I mess it up somehow.

I also considered stick on floor tiles too.

Any advice welcome :)
