Why my game sometimes doesn't unlock challenges?

This is driving me insane. I finished Hitman 2016 (I'm playing the trilogy) and I chose to 100% it before starting Hitman 2. The problem is that often my game doesn't unlock challenges. And yeah I do all in the proper way, I watch YouTube videos to be sure when it happens. I think it has happened 5 or 6 times now. Sometimes to get them unlocked I need to start a mission from scratch and it's really annoying, especially if you are trying to get a challenge which requires time. Is there any fix for this? I play on Xbox Series X btw.
